  The Herd Blog: The Herd Blog is a place to find fun information at the Lodge level with some International and Higher Degree information. If you are looking for information on Lodge Dances, Feasts, Moose Karaoke, Heart of the Community, Convention Info, Youth Awareness, or Community Volunteering opportunities this is your place!

    Moosehaven Centennial Project As we approach the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Moosehaven, we have been called upon to raise funds to provide more housing so that more of our senior members may be cared for in "the land of sunshine and contentment". This capital campaign project will be known as the "Moosehaven Centennial Project" and will be a three year $10,000,000.00 endeavor.     Massey Cancer Center Massey Cancer Center provides patient care and Cancer research, treating more than 50 types of Cancer. Muti-disciplinary teams work together under one roof, ensuring a high level of communication and making appointments easier for patients. They are organized by disease type and include medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, advance practice nurses, clinical research nurses and social workers, among others. Patients visiting Massey Cancer benefit from the team approach and expertise.     Safe Surfin' Foundation The Safe Surfin' Foundation is a leading organization in preventing children from being victimized by Internet predators. To make sure that members get this information, when posted, you can find this information here and in the "Herd Blog" area.

    Youth Awareness Program The program consists of the various State and Provincial Moose Associations throughout North America holding Association Student Congresses during the fall of each year. Lodges are encouraged to invite two high school students to those particular congresses. The purpose of the Association Congresses is to develop presentations that could be delivered to the targeted group of 4 - 9 year-olds (a target group established in 1988, following that year's International Student Congress). Christopher will soon be deployed as a corporal in the Unites States Marine Corp. Christopher was a student at Mooseheart for 17 years. In the video, he gives his side of being a student at Mooseheart and what it meant to him! Home is where the heart is!
