On Saturday, March 18, 2017, the brothers and co-workers of the South Norfolk Moose Lodge #464 in association with the Portsmouth Fraternal Order of Police donated new and reconditioned bikes to the Virginia Portsmouth sheriff’s department.  Accepting was Portsmouth's Sheriff Billy Watson.

The South Norfolk Moose Lodge has been working with the Portsmouth Fraternal Order of Police for many years to donate bicycles for deserving children in the Portsmouth community.  Knowing that these bicycles are going to children in need makes the work that much easier to do.  We would like to thank Portsmouth’s FOP President Sgt. Jim Swan, Portsmouth’s Sheriff Billy Watson, So. Norfolk #464 Heart of the Community Chairman Tommy Futhrell, So. Norfolk #464/FOP Board Member Rick Williams, So. Norfolk #464 Administrator Steve Crawford and So. Norfolk #464 Governor Richard Privott.  Keep up the great work!
