Lodge Leadership & House Committee Training Session

South Hill 1872 on July 11, 2020 from 8:30 AM-4:00 PM. This class is open to all officers and committee chairmen. Space is limited to 15 and will be first come, first served.(Dennis Harlow  804-366-7635. ) The cost of the training is $25 per person with checks made payable to the Virginia Moose Association. ​ This training is recommended for first time officers so they can give and get feedback. Training is also available online at the mooseintl.org training portal. It is the responsibility of every officer to be trained within 60 days of taking office and the training is good for three years. The Lodge will be adhering to all VDH guidelines regarding the current mandates set by the state for covid-19 so please inform your officers who will be attending.

The deadline is 7/3/20 to let me know how many from your Lodge will be attending. MLEC Training Session

Tappahannock Warsaw Lodge 2133 will be hosting a MLEC Training Class on July 25 2020.  This is a One Day Class and it has been designed primarily for Moose Legion Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries. Other Moose Legionnaires who wish to learn more about the role of Moose Legion Secretary and Assistant Secretary are welcome to attend.

Cost for each attendee            $25.00

All classes will start at 8:30AM and should end by 4:00pm.  Class size is limited to the first 15 that contact Dennis Harlow  804-366-7635.  All training material will be provided.

Winchester Lodge 1283 will be hosting a Lodge 2-day HOTT (Hands-On Technical Training) Class on Saturday and Sunday, August 8th and August 9th 2020.  **

This 2-day hands-on technical training course teaches Fraternal Units how to work within the QuickBooks, LCL.net and Moos and e Admin programs. This instructor-led class consists of a combination of instructor lecture and demonstration. After learning the "how," "when," and "why" behind the necessary QuickBooks, LCL and Admin Menu functions, students will have an opportunity to practice what they have learned as they work through a training database.

CHAPTER TRAINING SESSIONS
 
6-Hour CHAPTER LEADERSHIP SESSIONS

The 6 hour training sessions provide tools to assist the leaders of our fraternity in their daily operations.  Successful completion of this training helps our chapters qualify for the Award of Achievement.  These classes are opened any WOTM and LOOM member who would like to increase their understanding of the Women of the Moose.  Though all members are encouraged to attend the training, it is a requirement for certain co-workers to earn their individual honors (Senior Regent, Jr Graduate Regent to qualify for her College of Regents degree and Record to earn the Star Recorder degree).

Please RSVP to the contact for the class you wish to attend.  The registration will start 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.  Cost of the training is $10 per person and will be collected at the time of registration.  Lunch will be available by the hostess Chapter for $5.

Salem Lodge 2573 will be hosting a WOTM 2-day HOTT (Hands-On Technical Training) Class on Saturday and Sunday, July 25-26, 2020.  **

This 2-day hands-on technical training course teaches Fraternal Units how to work within the QuickBooks, LCL.net and Moose Admin programs. This instructor-led class consists of a combination of instructor lecture and demonstration. Pre-registration is required. To register please email sridenhour@moosetrainers.org  and include in your email your name, Moose ID Number, Chapter Number, Chapter position and email address. You will receive an email serving as your certificate of attendance.
